Hyderabad: Anumula Revanth Reddy, working president, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) announced that he would soon take up padayatra across Telangana to listen to people's problems and infuse confidence in them. He however said he would embark on the walkathon for taking permission from the AICC leadership.

He made the announcement on Tuesday at Rajiv Rythu Ranabheri, the concluding meeting of his 10-day Rajiv Rythu Bharosa padayatra that kicked off in Achampet in Nagarkurnool district and concluded on the Hyderabad outskirts.

Launching a blistering attack Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP for enacting farm laws that would be detrimental to the interests of farmers across the country, he alleged that Telangana Rashtra Samithi supremo and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao colluded with the Modi government to harm farmers.

The Malkajgiri MP termed farm laws as black laws and said Congress would continue to fight until farm laws were rolled back. "I am a child of farmer and I take a firm stand to protest along with farmers till the laws are repealed because I have experienced the hardships involved in the work farms do," he explained.

He further alleged that by enacting the laws, the Prime Minister and Home Minister Amit Shah surrendered the interests of 80 crore farmers to 'Ambani and Adani', referring to Reliance group owned by Mukesh Ambani and Adani Group owned by Gautham Adani.

Referring to the land acquisition in Telangana, the Congress leader asked Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao whether he would sell his agricultural land near his farmhouse in Gajwel for Rs 25 lakh per acre for farmers.

Reddy accused KCR for grabbing the lands of poor farmers for the pharma city by paying low costs.
